The Battle of Gettysburg, July 1-3, 1863, was a pivotal battle of the US Civil War. Here the 155th Pennsylvania Volunteers monument and a tree stand out against the early morning sky.

The icons along our National Mall served as the backdrop for my first career in Washington, DC. Now they are some of the photographic subjects for my second career.
