Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, is at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers. The 1859 raid on the arsenal there by anti-slavery zealot John Brown was a prelude to the U S Civil War. Old stone steps lead up to St. Peter's church.

The icons along our National Mall served as the backdrop for my first career in Washington, DC. Now they are some of the photographic subjects for my second career. I specialize in the DC region, the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, with other excursions near and far.
