The National Cherry Blossom Festival takes place in late March - early April in Washington DC every year. It celebrates the blooming of the cherry trees around the Tidal Basin and other areas near the Jefferson Memorial and other monuments.

The icons along our National Mall served as the backdrop for my first career in Washington, DC. Now they are some of the photographic subjects for my second career. I specialize in the DC region, the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, with other excursions near and far.
